Join us for the first ever Ontario-wide youth conference to end homophobia in Ontario high schools! The Centre Wellington District High School Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is hosting a full day of workshops catered to high school students who are part of a GSA and wish to empower their group, and for high school students who wish to start their own GSAs. A blend of motivational speakers, student-led workshops, entertainment, and group brainstorming sessions will empower students from high schools all over the province so that they can return to their schools equipped with the tools, resources, and connections they need to end homophobia in their schools. Mark off your calendar for May 21, 2010 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, and be sure to take part in this groundbreaking event, which is open to all Ontario high school students and their accompanying school staff supervisors!
